March 9 Hong Kong (Sha Tin) form analysis

Pays To Follow Invincible Sage

RACE 1 (1,400M)

7 So Awesome was held up from the 400m to the 200m before closing off nicely into fifth last time. In an open Class 5, he gets his chance. 10 Regency Happy Star should once again fare well, having held his form in a handy easy trial. 1 Perfect Peach returns to Class 5, where he holds a respectable record, as well as stepping out over his preferred track and distance. 6 Windicator Family is unplaced in 17 runs but showed progress on his first run in Class 5, where he beat a wide draw to run fifth.

RACE 2 (1,200M)

7 Top Throne seems to be a handy newcomer for David Hayes, having trialled well four times in Hong Kong. Promising sort. 4 Autumn Vibes was slow to begin on debut, which cost him the win. He ran third and can go two places better second-up. 8 Invincible Lucky has often been plagued by wide barriers, yet has been running well from them. 6 Mount Everest is another newcomer who has caught the eye in his work. Can show something.

RACE 3 (1,200M)

4 Akashvani has shown promise at the trials. Looks ready to kick off his career on a winning note. 2 Flash Current stormed home from last to score by a head second-up. Go close. 1 Suruga Bay steps out for Mark Newnham. Trials have been encouraging. He can improve. 6 Raging Rapids drew barrier 11 last time, was slow to begin, but closed off well into seventh. Open to further improvement third-up.

RACE 4 (1,600M)
