No better time for solid Gunners to meet the porous Reds

Liverpool's start to the English Premier League season has been thrilling, though vulnerabilities have been revealed. Arsenal's start to the season has been solid, rather than spectacular, even if it included a 5-0 victory over Leeds last weekend.
Where last season Arne Slot's team were solid in defence and clinical in attack, they have conceded two goals in each of their first two league matches, just as they did against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield.
Both Bournemouth and Newcastle took Liverpool to the brink, late goals from Federico Chiesa and 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha respectively required to seize victory.
Both games were minor classics, making Liverpool appointment viewing but the secret is out – their summer of spending has moved the dial to more attacking football but at the cost of their defence.
