Motorcyclist dies in PIE accident with Tower Transit bus

A motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a Tower Transit bus on the PIE on Nov 27.
The police said they were alerted to the accident, near the Lorong 2 Toa Payoh exit of the PIE towards Changi, at about 10.20am. They arrested the 27-year-old bus driver for driving without due care and attention, causing death.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said a paramedic pronounced a person dead at the scene, after it was alerted at about 10.25am.
The motorcyclist was a 52-year-old man, with no other injuries reported, the police added.
