KLIA aerotrain service set to resume by Jan 2025: Minister

The aerotrain service at Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is expected to be operational again by Jan 31, 2025, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke.

He said two aerotrain sets arrived in Malaysia last week and are entering the installation phase. They will enter the inspection phase after that.
"This phase will take about four months," he said after he visited and viewed an aerotrain at KLIA Terminal 1 on Sept 2.
He said dynamic inspections will start in October. This means the aerotrains will be tested using be ready," he said the existing track.
