Japan's Kishida to visit South Korea for summit with Yoon

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will visit Seoul on Sept 6 to 7 for a summit with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol.

They will review progress on their efforts to step up cooperation and deepen a partnership between their nations.
"Both sides will look back on the achievements of cooperation they have made through 11 rounds of summits and discuss the future direction of development of bilateral, regional and global cooperation," Mr Yoon's office said on Sept 3.
