Audi Q4 e-tron proves small can be more

The compact electric sport utility vehicle is a refined and spacious five-seater despite being not much bigger than the Q3
In just a couple of months, there will be a new car on Audi Singapore's price list the electric Q4 e-tron. Some have already seen it at the Singapore Motorshow in January.
The Q4 e-tron is not a replacement or facelift of an existing model, but an addition to Audi's electric passenger vehicle range. As its number suggests, it is a slightly smaller sport utility vehicle (SUV) than the Q5.
Visually, it is unmistakably an Audi SUV in terms of exterior styling, down to its blanked-off grille.
Dimensions-wise, it is 4,588mm long, 1,865mm wide and 1,632mm tall - or not much bigger than the Q3 on the exterior. But a relatively long wheelbase of 2,764mm puts cabin and luggage space on a par with models which are half a size bigger.
Its 520-litre boot is just 49 litres smaller than the full-sized Q8 e-tron's.
Rear passengers will be pleased with the car's ample legroom and flat floor, while front occupants have access to plenty of storage space, including in the lower level of the centre console. There is even a unique bottle holder on the upper half of the doors. These will accommodate a one-litre bottle effortlessly unlike unlike similar compartments placed in the lower half of doors.
