Tulsidas Balaram, the finest frontliners an football's most glorious period, died today aged 87.
-
He was ill for quite some time in the recent past, leaving an EM Bypass nursing facility to return to it frequently.
With Chuni Goswami and PK Banerjee, Balaram, whose best days were spent in East Bengal, formed a trio that did pretty well in the Olympic Games, won the Asian Games gold medal and left a lagacy that was awe-inspiring.
