TDP supporters stage protest in Hyderabad Metro

Supporters of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu today staged a unique protest against his arrest by travelling on Hyderabad Metro wearing black shirts and Tshirts between 10:30 and 11:30am but police and Metro authorities stopped them and those who managed to get on the trains had to face ire of other passengers irked by their protest

Many of the IT employees hailing from Andhra Pradesh in Hyderabad revere Mr Naidu for pioneering IT opportunities in the city as chief minister of the unified state.

In the past Telangana police had stopped TDP supporters, many of them IT employees from organising protests in the IT hub.

Today, TDP supporters sporting black attire reached the Miyapur Metro station en route to LB Nagar.
