Second batch of 235 Indians returns, more on the way

The second batch of 235 Indians, including two infants, who were stranded in Israel amidst the ongoing war, arrived in the national capital on Saturday morning after being evacuated by a chartered flight under 'Operation Ajay'

Two more flights were scheduled to leave Tel Aviv Saturday night to evacuate more Indians wanting to leave the country amidst the Israel-Hamas conflict.
The Indian nationals who arrived this morning were received at the airport by Minister of State for External Affairs and Education Rajkumar Ranjan Singh. "Received the second batch of Indians from Israel. Heartening to note that they are very appreciative of GoI’s swift response #OperationAjay and @MEAIndia for smooth coordination," Mr Singh said in a post on X.
