Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that a new path for the development of women has opened with the passage of the Women Reservation Bill in Parliament. He conveyed this message during the Nari Shakti Vandan Abhinandan event held at Sampurnanand Maidan in Varanasi.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi confronted the Opposition on the issue of Women’s Reservation, pointing out their role in delaying the passage of the measure, which had been pending for three decades.
