'Diwali Ki Safai': Hulladek collects 15000 kg waste and e-waste during festivity

It was a Diwali celebration with a difference, for sure.
Kolkata-headquartered Hulladek Recycling, a leading waste management company, completed its extensive waste and e-waste collection drive held during the Diwali season.
The initiative yielded a collection of nearly 15,000 kg of waste and e-waste from various regions across India.
The community's active participation in this initiative underscores their dedication to responsible waste disposal and environmental sustainability.
Waste management refers to the processes involved in managing waste from cradle to grave. This includes the collection, transportation, disposal/recycling and monitoring of waste materials produced as a result of human activity.
The waste management process involves five Rs: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repurpose and finally, Recycle.
This is an important methodology for businesses to follow to ensure they can reduce waste and boost their recycling efforts.
This ultimately lessens the amount of waste that will end up in landfill and will optimize your recycling programmes.
