Burdwan TMC to take up campaign against bogus names in voter list

To identify bogus or false voters in the draft voters list, the Burdwan West District Trinamul Congress (TMC) will monitor the work of the district administration.
Recently, the TMC supremo directed party leadership to ensure that the names of bogus or false voters are deleted.
A high-level meeting of the West Burdwan District TMC took place at the district headquarters in Asansol last night, attended by law, judiciary, and labor minister Moloy Ghatak. The District President of TMC in West Burdwan and MLA of Pandaveswar assembly seat, Narendranath Chakraborty, was also present.
It is learned that Asansol North MLA and state cabinet minister Moloy Ghatak has instructed booth-level party workers to start scrutinizing their respective areas by visiting every household.
