Tejashwi promises to provide a govt job for every Bihar family in 20 months

Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav made a major pre-poll promise on Thursday, claiming that every family in Bihar will have at least one government employee within 20 months of his party forming the government.
"As soon as our government is formed, within 20 days, we will pass a'Special Employment Act' and within 20 months, every family in Bihar will have at least one government job," Tejashwi declared at a press conference in Patna.
He reminded the media that during his 17-month tenure as deputy chief minister of Bihar, he had already fulfilled the promise of providing five lakh government jobs. Now he aims to extend that to every household in the state.
