The stage is set; there are no second chances as former champions Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians gear up to square off in the winner-takes-all IPL 2025 Eliminator at the new PCA Stadium in Mullanpur on Friday.
Pegged as title favourites, both sides arrive with visible cracks: Gujarat searching for rhythm after a series of humbling defeats in the final two league matches and Mumbai recalibrating after key overseas departures. It's a knockout clash, but both teams have previously experienced the pressure, with MI being the five-time champions and GT making the play-offs thrice in the last four seasons, including their trophy-winning debut season in 2022.
