BSF Trooper Shot Dead by Colleague in Camp Dispute

A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was fatally shot by a fellow soldier in a shocking incident inside a paramilitary camp in West Bengal's Murshidabad district late Saturday night, authorities confirmed.
The deceased, identified as Ratan Singh, hailed from Rajasthan and was posted at the BSF camp in the Paharghaati area of Shamsherganj block, near the Indo-Bangladesh border. According to BSF officials, the fatal shooting occurred around 10.30 p.m. following a heated altercation between Singh and his colleague, Constable Mishra.
