Asia Cup: Four-star Kuldeep Yadav dazzles after long wait

Acknowledging that the lack of playing time over the past few months wasn't easy, left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav roared back in style to fire India to a dominating nine-wicket victory over UAE in their Asia Cup 2025 opener in Dubai on Thursday.
At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Kuldeep emerged the wrecker-in-chief, returning stunning figures of 4-7, including three wickets in a single over, as India bundled UAE out for just 57 in 13.1 overs before chasing the target down in only 27 balls.
"It was tough for me (to not play a lot in recent months). I was working on my bowling and my fitness as well (with Adrian le Roux, our Strength & Conditioning coach), and everything was going perfect (tonight)," Kuldeep said at the post-match presentation after being named Player of the Match.
