Punjab Budget Session to take place from 21 to 28 March

The Governor's address will take place on 25 March followed by a discussion on the address
The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann approved the summoning of the eight session (Budget Session) of the 16th Punjab Vidhan Sabha from 21 to 28 March.
A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Cabinet held here at Mr Mann's official residence on Thursday.
Giving details about the decision, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said the cabinet gave the nod for recommending the same to Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, who is officially authorised to summon the State Legislature as per Article 174(1) of the Constitution of India.
