Piyush Goyal in Washington for India-UStrade talks

Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal was in Washington on Monday to move ahead with the trade talks with a view to achieving anearly conclusion ofa mutually beneficial India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement.
Goyal’s trip to the US capital follows the visit ofthe US team of officials to Delhion September 16. The Commerce Ministry said that during the visit of the team of officials from the office of the United States Trade Representative to India, “positive discussions were held on various aspects of the trade deal, and it was decided to intensify efforts in this regard”.
