Pawar's NCP likely to split, says Shinde-led Sena minister Shirsat

Social Justice Minister and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsath said here on Friday that the Sharad Pawar-led NCP is likely to face a split.
"The Sharad Pawar-led NCP's party chairman Jayant Patil is no longer interested in remaining in the party. Besides, everybody knows that a group within the party is active against Patil. So I don't think Jayant Patil will remain in the party for long. There is a lot of uncertainty in Sharad Pawar's camp. Some of them say they want an alliance, while others say they are against it, and others are fighting for posts. The entire party is in disarray. If important decisions are not taken soon in the party, then Sharad Pawar's party might even split," Shirsat told media persons.
