Mass awareness campaigns to minimise cattle run over cases

Cattle run over (CRO) cases from 1 April to 19 May in the Eastern Railway have seen a rise of more than six percent as compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
As per the data available, 65 cases of cattle run over cases were reported in the ongoing financial year between 1 April and 19 May in the Eastern Railway. The number is around 6.6 percent higher than that of the last year when 61 such incidents were recorded during the same period by the zonal railway.
