Family feud, communal pitch mar Jubilee Hills bypoll fight

The campaign for the bypoll in Jubilee Hills constituency witnessed all kinds of lows ~ a raging family feud between the heirs over the landed property of the deceased MLA and political parties openly adopting a communal and divisive line, even the Congress. The intense high voltage campaign finally came to an end on Sunday, with the voting scheduled to be held on 11 November.
BRS nominated the widow of deceased MLA Maganti Gopinath, Sunitha, as its candidate, and, as a result, was drawn into the family feud brewing between the first and second wives and children. The first wife and the son have challenged the family certificate issued to Sunitha and complained to ECI that her marriage was not legal.
In his complaint to the DGP, Tarak Pradhyumna, the son of the first wife, lodged a complaint against Maganti Sunitha for fraudulently obtaining the family certificate. On Sunday,
