Dilip Ghosh slams CM Mamata for 'Jagannath Dham' naming

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh on Saturday criticised West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for naming the newly built temple in Digha as 'Jagannath Dham', accusing her of stirring unnecessary controversies.
While speaking to the media, Ghosh said: "Mamata Banerjee never thinks before naming something...she gives any name...yes, people from Odisha have written to Mamata Banerjee. She used the slogan 'Jai Bangla'. People of Bangladesh objected to this...she does wrong things only."
Earlier on Friday, BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar criticised senior party leader Dilip Ghosh for meeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying the move had caused disappointment among the public, given the prevailing political situation in the state.
"Dilip Ghosh is a great leader of our party. But what he did has hurt people," Sarkar said while addressing reporters.
