'Deceased' councillor does his own last rites to highlight voters'list anomaly

A very much alive Dankuni Municipality councillor, Sujoy Dey, has been listed as deceased in the draft voter list that was published today by the Election Commission.
This despite the elected councillor of Ward No. 18 claiming that he had filled the enumeration form and submitted it to the concerned BLO.As a mark of protest, and to bring attention to the issue, a very shocked Dey has taken to social media and even performed symbolic protests, including his own last rites at a local crematorium.
