CM to lead marathon from KMC HQ to Writer's Buildings today

With the clock ticking closer to the mega yoga event on Red Road on 21 June, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is to lead a marathon from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation headquarters till Writer’s Buildings tomorrow.
As a part of the six-day Swachhta Se Swagat programme to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who would be present at Red Road for International Yoga Day on 21 June, the civic body has organised 11 marathons tomorrow.
One of the marathons is to be led by the Chief Minister from the KMC headquarters at 6 a.m.
“On 20 June, a yoga carnival would be organised at Millenium Park Jetty. Apart from this, around 3000 drones would display a show on the river Hooghly where 300 boats would also be roped in for yoga on board,” informed the KMC administrator, Smita Pandey.
