All-women staff, special all-women train to mark International Women's Day

As the city celebrated International Women's Day, Sealdah Division of the Eastern Railway deployed an all-female staff at ticket counters and ticket checking points to mark the occasion.
The day began with a celebration of women's empowerment when the counters for reserved and unreserved tickets at Sealdah Station opened with an all-female staff.
According to officials in the divisional railway, around 16 railway staff were deployed at various counters to mark the day.
Likewise, a team of 24 female ticket checking staff were deployed at Sealdah under the assistant commercial manager of Sealdah, Mrs Mahua Das.
