Adani to invest ₹63,000cr in Assam power projects

The Adani Group officially announced on Friday that it will invest Rs 63,000 crore in Assam in two major electricity projects.
Two Adani Group companies have received Letters of Award (LoA) from the Assam government-run Assam Power Distribution Company (APDCL), for long-term supply of power from a thermal power plant and a pumped storage facility/.
Adani Power Ltd will invest Rs 48,000 crore to set up a 3,200 MW greenfield ultra-supercritical power plant in Assam.
