RSS Meet Deliberates on Infiltration, Conversion, Drug Abuse Issues

The Sangh Parivar's All India Coordination Committee here has expressed concern over rising infiltration from Bangladesh into West Bengal and incidents of forced conversions and evil of drug addiction in Punjab.

However, the various Sangh Parivar outfits in their briefing at the ongoing coordination committee conclave have expressed their satisfaction over the improvement in the general situation in the trouble-torn Manipur, North Eastern region and Maoist menace-infested regions of Chhattisgarh, the RSS national spokesman Sunil Ambekar told the media here this afternoon.

The Sangh Parivar organizations have also praised the National Education Policy (NEP) being implemented by the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre and endorsed the rewriting or revision of various text books by the NCERT, saying "They are working in the right direction."

About the medium of education in the native language, he said the Centre's stance is clear in the NEP; the medium for primary to higher secondary education should be the native language or the second locally popular language.
