Ravenshaw students excel at 'Lex Intellecta 2025'

Two teams representing Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, claimed the first and third places at the state level quiz competition—Lex Intellecta 2025—conducted by the SOA National Institute of Law (SNIL), faculty of legal studies of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) here.
A two-day National Workshop on Sickle Cell & Thalassemia Elimination: Best Practices & Scalable Strategies was held with Minister, ST&SC Development, Minority and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Nityananda Gond inaugurating it.
The Minister said the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission, launched by the Prime Minister in 2023, is a historic step toward eliminating this disease by 2047. Odisha has been an active participant in this mission, conducting extensive screening and awareness programs in remote tribal areas.
The inaugural session was attended by Sanjib Ku Mishra, IAS, Principal Secretary, Aswathy. S, IAS, Commissioner cum Secretary, H&FW Department, Dr. Raji N.S., Deputy Secy, MoTA, GoI, Dr. Poma Tudu, Director, ST, Mr. William Hanlon, Chief, UNICEF Odisha, Professor Dr. Manoranjan Mohapatra, HoD, Department of Haematology, AIIMS, Delhi.
