Odisha Unveils IT Policy, ECMS With Slew of Attractive Incentives

Positioning itself to attract investments in the electronics component manufacturing sector and make Odisha an Electronics Hub, the state cabinet today unveiled several incentives under its new ECMS and also formulated an Information Technology Policy on Monday.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi cleared the policy as a move to advance Odisha's digital transformation and technological innovation.
The Odisha IT Policy-2025 has been designed to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for ten lakh people in the IT/ITES sector. It focuses on fostering technological innovation through Research & Development. Integration of AI across sectors and collaboration with academia and startups while developing world-class infrastructure such as IT parks, IT towers and SEZs.
