NGT Forms Team to Check Complaints Against a Marine Export Unit

The NGT, Eastern Zone, acting on a petition filed by an activist Bipin Bihari Das of village Talapada, against a marine export unit established at village Tundra, under Remuna block, directed a fact-finding team to submit a report within four weeks of the order.
The team shall include the district magistrate, director regional ground water board or its representative, senior scientist state pollution control board and senior scientist central pollution control board and it will conduct field visits.
