The 6th edition of the Meghalaya Games concluded in a spectacle of sportsmanship and cultural grandeur at the historic Kiang Nangbah Football Stadium in Jowai.
Over the past week, more than 3,500 athletes from across the state competed in 29 sporting disciplines, setting new benchmarks for Meghalaya's sporting aspirations.
With records broken, milestones achieved, and new talent unearthed, the Games were more than just a competition.
The Meghalaya Games 2025 began on 21 January with an inauguration at Wahiajer Stadium by chief minister Conrad K Sangma.
What followed was a high-octane week of sporting action, where athletes from various districts displayed grit, endurance and remarkable skill across multiple disciplines.
