IPL: RCB Edge Out Rajasthan Royals After Late Drama

Drama, excitement, entertainment. That is what T20 cricket is supposed to be. Thursday's IPL encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru was all that and more.
Seemingly coasting to victory with 16 runs needed in the last two overs, the Rajasthan Royals suffered a dramatic batting collapse, losing four wickets in the space of just six deliveries as RCB pulled off a last-gasp win in front of an ecstatic home crowd.
This was the first home win for RCB this season.
In the 18th over, RCB's star pacer Josh Hazlewood produced a superb display of death-over bowling, sending back a well-settled Dhruv Jurel and tailender Jofra Archer of consecutive deliveries giving away just one run.
Yash Dayal started the final over in brilliant fashion, dismissing the dangerous Shubham Dubey with a low full-toss.
RCB wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma put in some good work to run out Wanindu Hasaranga which virtually extinguished all hopes for the Royals.
