BJP Supporters Brutally Assault Senior Officer in BMC Office

In a shocking incident of broad daylight violence, a group of six miscreants, allegedly associated with the ruling BJP, stormed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office and brutally assaulted Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo, an Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officer.
Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers entered the premises during office hours, dragged Sahoo out of a public grievance meeting, pushed him to the ground, and kicked and punched him mercilessly. The entire assault was captured on mobile phones by several onlookers.
The attackers are said to be linked to a defeated BJP MLA candidate from Bhubaneswar.
Sahoo, who has lodged a police complaint, stated that during the grievance hearing, one of the assailants questioned him about whether he had spoken to Jagannath Pradhan, the former BJP candidate. Before he could respond, he was physically assaulted without provocation.
