The artwork, created by Thandeka Shezi, a professional architect at Alfeco Holdings, was gifted by Suhani Ahuja, ambassador of the Alfeco Foundation, as a symbolic gesture of friendship between India and South Africa.

Shezi, the artist behind the portrait, said the piece was created with profound respect. "Architecture teaches us to design for people and this portrait was no different," she said. "It was drawn with the hope that it becomes a symbol of unity and the spirit of Ubuntu that South Africa holds dear." Suhani Ahuja, who has been actively championing the Foundation's social initiatives, spoke as she handed over the portrait. "This artwork is our way of expressing admiration, not only for Prime Minister Modi ji as a leader, but for what India and South Africa represent when they stand together," she said.

Consul General Mahesh Kumar expressed appreciation and said that people driven exchanges form the true foundation of international relationships.
