- Chris Travers

Rode Park & Lawton took first use and they made their way to 175-7 from their 40 overs.

J Jones led the way with 61, which featured eight fours, with S Cheadle adding 29, A Currie making 20 and A Marshall chipping in with 18.

A Kenvyn and L Kenvyn both took a couple of wickets for Woore.

Woore then had few concerns in securing a seven-wicket success, despite a couple of scalps for S Marshall.

M Burton hit nine fours and two sixes in a fine 65, with support forthcoming from J Birch (44no), D Manning (34) and F James (25).

Sandon swept to an eight-wicket win at home against Leycett seconds.

Sandon were set 175 for victory, but a couple of wickets for Liam Bedson left them 37-2.

But they were the only alarms for the hosts as Steve Greatholder and David Nash set about forging a matchwinning partnership.
