As England and Wales gear up for their opening games at UEFA Women's Euro 2025, LYNN RUSK has everything you need to know about the tournament

England and Wales play their opening group games today, with the Dragons taking on the Netherlands at 5pm and the Lionesses up against France at 8pm.
On Wednesday, England face the Netherlands at 5pm, while Wales will play France at 8pm.
England and Wales will then play each other at 8pm on Sunday, July 13 in their final group game.
The top two teams from each group will progress to the quarterfinals. The winners of those games will then advance to the semifinals, with the tournament culminating in the championship final at St. Jakob-Park in Basel on July 27.
"Lauren James is a brilliant player and one of my favourites. I think she could have a really good tournament," says Laura. Co-presenter Seema, 40, describes Lauren James as having "England's X Factor". Spain's Aitana Bonmati and Claudia Pina have also created a buzz among the pundits.
