One of the brothers strangled the victim

- Sentinel Reporter

TWIN brothers Chicane and Blade Eaton have been spared jail after carrying out an unprovoked attack on a man in a pub.

The 23-year-olds were aged 21 when they hospitalised their victim after trouble erupted at the Jolly Potters pub in Crackley.

The victim was with a friend and was aware of some men arguing in the main bar. He followed a man to the toilet and tried to calm him down. But Chicane Eaton strangled him for 55 seconds.

The violence moved into the main bar area and Blade joined his twin brother in attacking the victim who was kicked and punched while on the ground. He was left with a badly bruised eye and went to hospital.

Now the brothers have been handed suspended jail sentences at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court. Prosecutor David Bennett said the violence started at 10pm on February 9, 2024.
