He was caught looking after cannabis grow

- Sentinel Reporter

A TEENAGER has been jailed - after getting a 'job' he spotted on TikTok.

Eraldo Daci came to Stoke-on-Trent after seeing an advert on TikTok to 'make money quickly'.

He had been under the care of social services in Oxford from the age of 15 after seeking asylum in England from Albania.

As a result, he could not get work in the UK due to his immigration status.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard Daci, right, responded to the advert thinking he could earn some cash.

The 18-year-old was put in a property in Weston Road, Meir, and told to look after the cannabis plants four weeks prior.

After one week he claims to have wanted to leave, but had been threatened with physical violence.

He was found in a crawl space when police raided the address on May 8.
