A MAKESHIFT rough sleep camp set up in the grounds of Stoke Minster has been torn down following complaints from mourners.

- Sentinel Reporter

Tents and temporary shelters had been set up just a few feet from graves at the Glebe Street church.

Rubbish had also been left strewn over the grass and in one picture, a shopping trolley had been abandoned just 3ft from a headstone with a pushchair abandoned nearby.
