Potters boss wants his side to maintain their impressive start on return from international break

- Isaac Seelochan

STOKE City boss Mark Robins has called on his team to maintain their momentum ahead of today's Championship clash at home to Birmingham City.

The Potters will look to continue their impressive start to the season when they welcome Chris Davies' newly-promoted team to the bet365 Stadium at 3pm.

Stoke, having won three of their first four Championship matches, will be keen to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to West Bromwich Albion prior to the international break.

Robins' team have had two weeks to digest that defeat, with 14 members of the squad having gone off to play for their countries.

Summer signing Lamine Cisse, meanwhile, has had an extra two weeks to get towards match fitness.

And Robins has called for improvement after their loss to the Baggies - although he stresses that his side have by-and-large played well so far in the 2025/26 campaign.
