STOKE City boss Mark Robins has heaped praise on the club’s dedicated supporters as the Potters prepare for two long-distance away matches in quick succession.

Potters fans never cease to amaze me, admits boss Robins

City ended a run of three successive draws last Saturday with a 1-0 triumph over Wrexham at the bet365 Stadium, lifting them up to third in the Championship table. But they now face back-to-back away matches starting with a trip to London tonight to face inform Millwall.

Despite having to endure a 340-mile midweek round-trip, more than 1,000 supporters will be making the trip to the capital, something Robins described as “inspirational”.

Speaking to club media on Monday, when asked about the travelling supporters, he said: “Incredible. It’s a long way to go. It’s a Tuesday evening and the support we get is vital, but they never cease to amaze me. The commitment that everybody shows is there for everyone to see and that's inspirational for everybody.”
