PORTHILL Park broke through the 300-run barrier to set up their victory at Endon in NSSCL Division.

Openers Joe Bridgewater and Connor Uren both made 86 - putting on 168 for the first wicket - to lay the groundwork for Porthill Park’s 302-8 from their 50 overs.

Bridgewater hit 13 fours in his innings, with Uren’s knock containing 17 boundaries.

Tom Timmis (54) also compiled a half-century, featuring seven fours, as the runs flowed at Post Lane.

Vinodh Perera scooped 3-60 for Endon and there were a couple of wickets for Josh Tittensor.

Tittensor (49) and Simon Tucker (42) impressed for the hosts after tea before Perera went into overdrive with the bat.
