Plaque honours 'leading light' to poetry movement

It's on display at his former home
A POET who founded a major movement has been honoured with a blue plaque at the house where he lived.
Thomas Ernest Hulme was born in Gratton but later moved to Endon Bank in Church Lane, Endon with his family.
He is credited with being one of the driving forces behind the Imagists movement in the early 20th century that favoured 'precision of imagery and clear, sharp language.
Others involved included American poet Ezra Pound, H.D. (Hilda Doolittle), Amy Lowell, Ford Madox Ford, William Carlos Williams and F.S. Flint.
