Plans for homes in pub car park

Developer wants to build 8 semi-detached houses

EIGHT homes could be built in a pub car park - if planners give the go-ahead.

Developers want to put up two and three-bedroom properties in part of the car park and beer garden at The Bush in Silverdale.

Now they have asked Newcastle Borough Council for permission to carry out the work.

Proposals submitted by Silverdale UK Developments state there would be four three-bedroom semi-detached homes, and four with two. The pub would also be retained.
