Performances are the key for Congleton manager Duffy
The Sentinel
|November 07, 2025
FOOTBALL: Congleton Town boss Richard Duffy believes performances are more important than results - and he has been more than satisfied with the last four.
-
His team are just two points above the relegation zone in the Northern Premier League West Division but have picked up eight points from their last four matches, including a 4-0 win against Wythenshawe Town on Saturday.
On Tuesday night, in torrential rain, they drew 1-1 at home to top-eight side Runcorn Linnets and are back on the road this Saturday at 15th-placed Clitheroe who they can clamber above with a victory.
