Residents hit out over roads, play area and drainage but developers say they're on it
FAMILIES are unhappy that their new-build housing estate remains unfinished.
They live on Buckthorn Drive - within the Hollington Grange estate in Fegg Hayes - and want Keepmoat to sort out the roads, pavements and drainage - and get the play area open.
Now the developer has said that the roads should be finished within weeks, it has brought in consultants over the 'reported drainage issues', and the play area is waiting to be signed off.
Bruno Nunes moved onto the estate in March 2024.
The 42-year-old said: “We knew the development was still a building site and we were told the work would be done by the end of summer 2024. But the roads and pavements have still to be finished. The uninspiring playground is not signed off. When summer ended, people started sending emails asking what was happening.
