New Vic show must go on ... Ian's canvas!

AWARD-WINNING Stoke-on-Trent artist Ian Mood has joined the company producing the New Vic's Christmas Show.

Ian will be part of The Little Mermaid team as the Basford theatre's artist in residence for autumn 2025.

He will document the creative process of making a stage production, by capturing moments on and off stage from the start of rehearsals through to the first performance.

Renowned for his portrayal of landscapes and seascapes, Ian's work explores the constantly changing and unpredictable natural world and is represented in galleries in the UK and the USA.
