New campaign to improve end-of-life care

HEALTH chiefs have launched a new strategy to improve palliative and end-of-life care across Staffordshire.
It was announced by the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board during last week’s Dying Matters Awareness Week.
The national campaign - led by Hospice UK - encourages ‘open and honest’ discussions about end-of-life experiences.
Dr Hannah Missen, Clinical Lead and GP at Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICB, was one of the leads on the development of the strategy for the county.
