Market Drayton and Crewe seal the deal with promotion success

Table-topping Market Drayton won a rain-affected encounter at home against Hem Heath fourths to book their place at the next level.

Third-placed Hem Heath were routed for just 41 as Rizwan Tanveer grabbed 5-12 and there were two wickets apiece for Ethan Allman and Mickey Allman.

Logan Tams and Muhammad Rahim both made 10 for the visitors.

Market Drayton reached their revised target of 21 for the loss of two wickets as Steve Whilde made 12.

Crewe seconds were also left celebrating after a nine-wicket triumph at home against Sandbach 2nd XI.

Harry Wynn-Hughes' 3-9 was ably supported by Andrew Whittingham's two victims as Sandbach were rolled for 62.

Jonas Flanagan top-scored for Sandbach with 17, with Luke Williams and Liam Potts both chipping in with 12.
