20-year-old was caught the following day
'IMMATURE' David King made an impulsive decision to run away from police as he was being arrested.
The 20-year-old was being detained for breaching his bail conditions.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard he ran off as the officer tried to put handcuffs on him, causing her to fall to the ground.
Police returned to the same address the next day and arrested King.
Now he has been sentenced to two months in custody, suspended for 18 months, with a Building Choices programme for up to 60 days.
Prosecutor Alura Bather said King was subject to bail with conditions not to approach or communicate with a woman.
But on March 12 police visited Tawney Crescent, Meir, to arrest King for breaching his bail.
